2. Hosting and server log files
This website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you access the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data, in particular your IP address, date and time of access, the requested address, and browser type and operating system. This serves to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on Cloudflare's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
3. No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or marketing tools, and does not load external fonts or scripts from third parties.
4. Contact by e-mail
If you contact us by e-mail, we process your details (e-mail address, name, content of the message) to handle your request, for example for trial access. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) (legitimate interest in answering). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
4a. Demo request via the form
If you request a demo code on this page, we process your name, your e-mail address and – if provided – your company and use case in order to issue a personal 24-hour invitation code immediately and to contact you about TokenCut. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by e-mail, and the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The request passes through Cloudflare (see section 2) to our own TokenCut server, where it is stored. Your IP address is stored only as a truncated, salted check value to limit misuse (at most three requests per connection and day). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose, at the latest 12 months after the last contact, or immediately at your request.
4b. Online start, credit and payment via PayPal
When you start TokenCut online or top up credit, we process your company, contact person, e-mail address, billing address and – if provided – your VAT ID to perform the contract, activate your access, bill the savings against your credit, send you the daily overview if requested and issue the invoice (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to meet statutory retention obligations under tax and commercial law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR; usually 10 years for invoices). Payment is handled by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. We only send PayPal the amount, currency, a description of the service and an order number; you enter your login and payment details directly at PayPal, they never reach us. 5. TokenCut trial access
During trial access, the TokenCut gateway processes the requests sent to it in order to condense them and forward them to the model. Only token counts, checksums and timestamps are stored, plus a truncated device hint for the one-time redemption of the invitation code – never the content of the requests.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
